Some folks dig the baby photos, some think new parents are insane. So, open or delete accordingly.

We're finding mass email is a better way to communicate than actually trying to, you know, talk to people, as the baby seems to require quite a lot of attention. The basic update is this: we spend all of our time trying to teach the kid to like boobs. He's just really not so into them. So far he prefers to eat from bottles, syringes, nipple shields, and finger feeders (just google any term you've never heard before - it's a whole new vocabulary for us too.) But he breastfed perfectly once on Thursday morning, and once yesterday afternoon, so we've got hope for the kid and we're still trying. Trying requires tremendous effort and minimal sleep, hence the part where we don't return calls and emails and whatnot, but we do appreciate them all the same, and we miss you all very much. We hope to return to the land of the living soon. 'til then, enjoy the pictures.
